If you’re looking to go deeper with the Wim Hof Method this July and August, North America has no shortage of options. From a two-hour introduction in Michigan to a full weekend in the Colorado high country, the workshops below span a wide range of formats and settings. Here’s what’s on offer, region by region, along with schedules, locations, and what to bring.

WHM workshops in the eastern and midwestern US

Grand Rapids, Michigan, sits on the banks of the Grand River in West Michigan, not far from the Lake Michigan shoreline. Here, a short two-hour session runs on July 18, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at a facility on Burton St SE. The focus is purely on breathing, an ice bath, and meditation; bring flip-flops, warm clothes, and a journal.

On the same day, July 18, a four-hour workshop takes place in Roanoke, Virginia, set in the Blue Ridge Mountains of the state’s southwest, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM on the third floor of a building on Vinyard Road. This session pairs mindset training with breathwork and cold exposure. Attendees should pack a snack, a pen, and a pad.

Also in Virginia, a workshop runs on August 15 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at CrossFit MVA in Alexandria, just across the Potomac River from Washington, D.C. The venue offers generous indoor space for lecture and sharing, with the ice baths set up outdoors. Rounding out the region, a workshop is held on August 23 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Yoga Revive in Marlton, New Jersey, a South Jersey town within easy reach of Philadelphia. The popular community space hosts a full group breathing session and theory lecture geared toward building a daily personal practice.

WHM workshops in the western and southwestern US: desert studios and a Rocky Mountain retreat

On July 18, from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM, a fundamentals workshop takes place in Tempe, Arizona, part of the Phoenix metro area in the Sonoran Desert, at The Exercise Coach inside the Duskfire Professional Center, conveniently located next to the Kyrene Canal walking path. The session includes a break with light snacks and drinks.

For a deeper dive, an extended weekend retreat runs August 14–16 in Silverthorne, Colorado, high in the Rocky Mountains of Summit County near Dillon Reservoir, from 11:00 AM Friday to 5:00 PM Sunday. Hosted at The Block Hotel & Commons, a modern mountain hostel with discounted lodging available, the retreat is limited to 25 participants and includes hiking in the Colorado mountains, a sauna, nature reconnection, and all meals. Pack mountain footwear and a light coat.

Closing out the summer, a workshop runs on August 29 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM in Boulder, Utah, a remote town in the south-central part of the state near Grand Staircase-Escalante and Boulder Mountain, at The Roost, a retreat home set on two acres with both group and private accommodation options. The day covers theory, an ice bath, and nature integration. Lunch is provided, and yoga mats and blankets are supplied on-site.

WHM workshops in Canada: a home setting in Ontario and a studio retreat in Alberta

In Brantford, Ontario, on the Grand River in the southwestern part of the province between Hamilton and London, a four-hour fundamentals workshop runs from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on both July 25 and August 1. Hosted in a comfortable home setting, the session covers theory, guided breathing, and an ice bath immersion. Coffee, tea, and light snacks are served at the start, with a light lunch following the ice bath. Bring a yoga mat, swimwear, a towel, and your favourite blanket.

In Sherwood Park, Alberta, a suburb on the prairie just east of Edmonton, a longer session runs from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM on August 22 at Rising Moon Studio, known for its calm, well-lit, open layout. The workshop includes guided breathwork, meditation, mobility work, journaling, live drum sounds, and cold exposure. Lemon-ginger-honey tea, herbal teas, fruit, and light snacks are provided; participants should bring a pen, notebook, yoga mat, sandals, and a changing robe.
