I grew up in Northern California and was lucky to be encouraged to live an active life from a very young age. I was able to take advantage of the incredible outdoors in Northern California, enjoying many sports and spending as much time as possible at the beach.

My active lifestyle led me to pursue different activities and travel across the Pacific. Unfortunately, I also picked up several injuries along the way. In trying to understand my body and make it function at its highest capacity I looked into East Asian medicine, martial arts, and meditation. One injury, in particular, caused incredible and chronic pain that changed my life. My search for nonpharmaceutical options led to an introduction to cold exposure which led me to the Wim Hof Method. Along my path to healing, I have had the support of family, friends, some incredible medical professionals, and the WMH community. My reason for continuing to practice in this space and my drive to become an instructor is the incredibly positive impact it has had on my life. I want to teach so that others, whether coming from a place of great or poor health, so they may benefit as I have.
