I have worked in the public sector for 18 years, I have helped many children and adults to stay physically and emotionally safe. Through the course of my career, I have learnt to effectively incorporate wellbeing and mental health resilience into my work whilst helping people manage emotional distress, day to day stress and physical ailments.
At the same time, I have spent many years trying to avoid stress induced burnout through work and life and I understand how tricky it can be to prioritise our own wellbeing.
I have found that developing a good practise of mindfulness has been a great foundation to helping me not fall off the cliff! I believe everyone should learn a few different techniques aimed at preserving good mental health and the Wim Hof method is a fantastic skill to add to your wellness toolkit. I love that It brings my love of breathwork and the cold together!
