Sacramento + Bay Area, CA
My experience has taught me that people need help learning to care for themselves especially with stress, pain and anxiety!
What’s up everyone my name is Ken O’Shea and I’m the general manager and part owner of a wellness studio in Sacramento, CA. I graduated from Cal Poly in 2010 with a bachelor of science in Kinesiology. I am an American College of Sports Medicine Exercise Physiologist. I also am Z-Health certified and a Level 1 Wim Hof Method Instructor.
I’ve always been very active, involved in sports, and found my love for athletics from my father who is an athletic trainer, coach, and teacher. I’m an avid camper, backpacker, skier, soccer player, and have learned to love the cold which isn’t always easy in Sacramento. I started my career doing mostly one on one training sessions in the Bay Area and moved to Sacramento a few years ago.
Over the years I’ve come to realize that most people don’t need more exercise at first, they need help learning how to deal with the stress and pain they are experiencing from this crazy world we live in. I’ve had my own personal setbacks with stress and sports injuries. My own experiences have driven me to learn even more about how the body and the brain work together and the effects that stress, pain, and anxiety, have on them. I use this information to help teach people how to care for themselves.
