A little about me:
I know that you can do more than you believe.
I am a long time meditator (since 1990), a longtime martial artist (since 1982 Tae Know Do, Kung Fu, BJJ, Thai Kick Boxing) I’ve been in and out of Gyms since the early 1990’s. I have been a professional ballet dancer, myotherapist and since 1998 a Pilates Movement Coach running one of the most successful Studios on the Gold Coast since 2000. I also play with Calisthenics and Kettlebells and incorporate these elements into how I coach. In short, my whole life has been about physical and mental performance and where they intersect. For me becoming a Wim Hof Method Instructor brings all this together. I count myself fortunate to have been trained by Wim Hof himself and I feel this has given me some incredibly deep insights into the techniques.
I have suffered chronic pain due to a serious accident, this coupled with a lifetime of anxiety and loss of loved ones over a short period led me into a period of depression. I had 'all the right tools' and still fell down; fortunately I found the Wim Hof Method and I credit this and other tools with literally saving my life as well as helping me to gain control of my anxiety. This turnaround in my personal wellbeing is what fuels my passion to share these methods to help as many people as possible.
I'm a passionate 'citizen scientist' always looking into the latest science, especially in the health and wellness realm. I believe this coupled with a long history of meditation and physical performance gives me a unique perspective.
