Let's rewire our neural networks and uncover our ancient physiological connections with nature, our deeper selves and each other!
Hello good people of Earth!
Having taught in the Public School system for the last 14 years, I know firsthand about dealing with chronic stress and what this can do to your body and mind. Teaching the Engineering Design Process in my daily life has taught me how to iterate through failure on the physical realm, but the Wim Hof Method has shown me doors within my mental/spiritual realm that I thought my monkey mind was unable to unlock. It's helped me to shed my anxiety, depression and fear based responses to our external world. After 40 some odd years of living I never knew calm and collected could feel so good! The WHM is an amazing tool to help us navigate the modern world and shine perspective and light on our daily walk home. It's also catapulted so many positive changes to my life from my yoga practice to how I engage with my classroom, my immediate family of four and well beyond.
My main job on this planet is to make sure that my two beautiful children have the opportunity to become strong, happy and healthy humans and I work towards creating sustainable communities for our future. How we care for and nurture our body/mind connection is paramount to any work that we do.
I grew up skateboarding and snowboarding my way through my teens. My family was very much into wilderness adventure based travel and as an adult I've backpacked into some of the most beautiful places all over this amazing planet we call home. I'm still an avid traveler, outdoor adventurer and advocate for getting out of your comfort zone culturally and also physically into nature. We need more nature based experiences and I'm excited to be able to begin offering my services for these endeavors. Let's rewire our neural networks and uncover our ancient physiological connections with nature, our deeper selves and each other!
Because we all are capable, worthy and we deserve it!
With warm regards and humble gratitude,
