Chris' mission is to empower human beings by sharing the most effective wellness tools and practices available.

Through educating human beings (like you!) about the biological process of Hormesis (the same adaptive response that strengthens our muscles after working out) Chris can teach you to strengthen your physical, mental, and emotional resilience using natural and effectively free positive stressors.

The breath & stress used to be my greatest weakness. Chris ended up in the emergency room 25 times between the age of 2.5 and 16. And dealt with debilitating stress all the way through college. But now he has learned them both into his greatest strength and the Wim Hof Method is what showed him how! 

Our breath is essential to being fully alive. Teaching you to breathe properly, to balance your nervous system, and find the power of your breath is central to my mission. Our conscious ability to regulate our breath opens the doors of health, awareness, and the power to influence how we feel and act in every moment.

The cold is a powerful unforgiving force... the perfect force to train your physical, mental, and emotional resilience! Chris will show you how to turn the cold into your empowering friend!

WHO IS CHRIS WURDEN?

Chris comes from a past of severe asthma, debilitating panic attacks, & chronic allergies. From the age of 2 ½ to 15 he experienced frequent hospitalizations… he was put on steroids, was allergic to almost everything, and lived in chronic fear of an unknown force that could stop his breath at any time. Due to these experiences, he chose to dedicate his life to searching for the most effective ways to thrive with stress, anxiety, and panic.

On his journey he has traveled to over 30 countries, sat in multi-week silent meditation retreats in Thailand, became a SSI Dive Control Specialist, floated for hours in sensory deprivation tanks, trained in freediving techniques, and took month long treks through the Himalayas. Chris Wurden is passionate about creating empowering, safe & supportive containers where beings can experience profound relaxation & lasting transformation. 

In 2018 he first discovered the incredible benefits of conscious breathwork & realized he had found his calling in life. Since that moment, he has trained directly with Wim Hof in 2020, became an Advanced Oxygen Advantage Instructor with Patrick McKeown and Buteyko Instructor with the Buteyko Clinic in 2021. And finally in 2022 completed his Wim Hof Instructor training in 2022. You can be sure he won’t stop there.

He understands that all methodologies have their strengths and weaknesses, depending on where they are being applied, and is grounded in gaining a holistic view in order to synthesize and apply them in the most powerful ways to you!
