Vacancy for Academy Manager [full time]

Role
As the Academy Manager you are responsible for setting the strategic direction, managing and expanding the Academy, and ensuring that it meets yearly goals. This position plays a pivotal role in overseeing educational content, managing instructor communications, and fostering a thriving global community. As the head of the Academy you drive the growth of the Academy internationally, improve the quality of educational materials, and support instructors and students to ensure optimal learning experiences.
Responsibilities
- Planning & Goal Setting: Set and define the yearly goals and strategic direction for the Academy and Community. Regularly monitor and evaluate progress toward these goals, ensuring alignment with the organization's vision and values.
- OKRs Management: Manage and communicate Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for the Academy, ensuring all activities are aligned with overall strategic goals.
- Academy Planning & Optimization: Develop, plan, oversee and evaluate training trajectories within the Academy. Ensuring that projects are completed on time and reviewing and optimizing these programs regularly.
- Educational Material Improvement: Continuously evaluate and optimize the educational materials used by students and instructors, keeping the content relevant and high-quality.
- Team Management: Manage and mentor the Coordinator and Support, ensuring effective team collaboration and development.
- Global Instructor Panels: Organize and facilitate panel meetings with instructors from different continents every three months to encourage knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Surveys & Feedback Analysis: Analyze survey data from instructors every six months to identify areas for improvement and implement actionable changes.
- Webinars & Speaker Events: Organize webinars and speaker events, bringing in subject matter experts to provide value to the Academy community.
- Newsletters: Write and distribute newsletters to keep instructors, students, and community members informed about new developments and upcoming events.
- Instructor Communication & Behavior Monitoring: Monitor instructor behavior and communication. Provide feedback and support to optimize communication among instructors.
- Community Management: Oversee the management of Facebook groups, Discord channels, and other social platforms, ensuring a positive and engaged community.
- Promotional & Informative Material: Manage the creation and updates of promotional and informative material that instructors can use in and for their activities, ensuring it is up-to-date and effective.
Requirements
- Proven experience in product management, community management, education, or training development.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to create, manage, and evaluate educational content and programs.
- Experience working in a multicultural, global environment with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Proactive, conscientious, solution based mind-set and always look to improve the status quo
- Excellent English (and preferably also Dutch) communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in project management software and other community management tools.
