Sue lives a barefoot lifestyle to be connected to Mother Earth.
In December 2017 she trained with Wim Hof and his Master Instructors for 5 days to prepare to climb Mount Snezka in Poland. After 2 1/2 hours in shorts and a tank top, the group reached the summit at 1600 meters in minus 20C weather. She experienced and learned how to face extreme conditions by accessing the inner fire in her body to stay warm through the Wim Hof Method training.
Now a certified Wim Hof Method Instructor, Sue graduated in October 2018. She is an advocate for barefooting and has been living a barefoot lifestyle for almost 8 years and designed the first ever sole-less shoe as a way to invite people to have a deep connection with Mother Earth.
Through this method, she immediately noticed several benefits. She became physically stronger, her memory improved immensely, she faced her fear of entering freezing cold water, the inflammation in her body virtually disappeared, she lost weight, she can now work through bouts of depression, and she has increased energy and focus. Sue has learned how to control her autonomic nervous system, giving her more control over her health.
Her dream is to share this method with a tribe of people, especially women, who have the desire to reconnect with a natural way to manage the health of their body, mind, and soul, and have some control over all aspects of the aging process.
By teaching the Three Pillars of the Wim Hof Method with a focus on barefooting, Sue wants to inspire people to practice this so they can be healthy, happy and strong.
She offers WHM Fundamentals workshops and the WHM 5 and 10 Week Group Course in Toronto, Muskoka, Tulum, and Spain.
