Very early in my life I had a great intrest in how this body and mind works. Working as a proffesional chef for 15 years, naturaly I started diving into nutrition at a very young age. This intrest of the body and mind then turned more into trying to understand energy, and when i say energy what i mean is how the body converts food into energy, the chemistry of the body like hormones and oxygen, signals in the nerve system and the brain and emotions. 

As you can imagine, working as a chef can be very stressfull at times, i was working 6 days per week 12 hours everyday for many years. I had no life outside of work and every other week i had severe migraines and I had chronic inflammation in my wrist. I was putting all my energy into my work and I feelt exhausted. I wanted more energy, so i started to investergate energy cultivation through Qi gong, yogic philosophy and taosist meditation and the thing that I noticed was that all of these diffrent practices that where made as a way to enhance health and energy levels, balance emotions and reach altered states of consciousness, they all had some sort of breathing techniqe involved in the practice. So I searched youtube for breathwork and i found Wim Hof. About 30 seconds into the first video I saw i feelt "this is it". I started to reseach the science and the first time i tried the breathing, I had never feelt this feeling in my life, it was the first time i feelt completly relaxed and at peace, It feelt like for the first time in my life I could truly rest, and at the same time i feelt energy running through my whole body, power combined with a deeply peaceful feeling. 

The transformation that have taken place in my life since starting to practice the Wim hof method is hard to put into words. But during these last years I have been able to release emotional tensions, balance the chemistry of my body allowing me to take decisions from a place of courage instead of fear, I sold all my things and traveled the world, i lived in Bali without working for a long time and only focused on developing and experimenting with breathwork and cold exposure. 

I found that it is not always about having more energy, its more about learning how to manage the energy avalible to us, we can learn this through the breath, the cold and mindset. We can use the Wim Hof method as a tool to tap into the deepest parts of our physiology and start to make changes to the chemistry. When the chemistry is right we are Happy, strong and healthy.
