    OUTLINE of Workshop

    This workshop is a follow-on to the basic workshop; a more in-depth training for people that wish to aquire a better understanding of the WHM. In this one-day workshop, we will learn new techniques and inherit a deeper perception of the Wim Hof Method, tailored to your physiology in obtaining maximum results.

    This advanced workshop is intended for participants who have followed the basic course and understand the Wim Hof technique. However, beforehand knowledge of the method is not necessary or compulsory to be able to follow this in-depth course. Just drop me a line beforehand so I can help in giving you a head start!

    The trainer

    I have been training and working with the Wim Hof Method since 2010. Being one of the very first Wim Hof Method Instructors, I now get to oversee and guide the development of new WHM-Instructors at the Wim Hof Academy. I have already trained over 2000 people in the method, putting emphasis on humor, effectivity and safety in my workshops.

    Preparation Requirements:

    To help you with the method and to have your more physically and mentally prepared on the day of the event, you can take the following steps:

    • Practice the Wim Hof breathing on a daily basis (or contact me if this is new to you)
    • Take a cold shower every morning, or if that is too uncomfortable, start with a hot shower and gradually turn down the heat until the water is cold
    • Learn how your body reacts to the cold
    • Stay under the cold shower until you have your breathing under control and you feel calm. If you find this exercise difficult, just start at the feet and work slowly up. Be careful exposing your head under the cold shower; build it up slowly.
