    This one-day, in-depth session will be jam-packed with insights, explanations and techniques to help you dive deep into the Wim Hof Method. It will be taught by Wim Hof Academy Head-Instructor Kasper van der Meulen, who has over ten thousand hours of experience in teaching in the fields of science, self-mastery, and the Wim Hof Method.

    What you will learn: 

    10:00 - 13:00: Part 1 - Breathing physiology, WHM breathing techniques

    • How to optimise your baseline breathing
    • How to breathe for athletic performance
    • How to influence the nervous and immune system
    • How to use breathing to hack meditation and focus
    • How to use the Wim Hof Method breathing technique to become better at anything
    • Scientific explanations about effects of consciousness, mindset and breathing on human physiology

    14:00 - 16:00: Part 2 - Cold physiology, icebath preparation

    • How to increase metabolism through breathing and focus
    • How to improve nervous system control and circulation
    • How to enhance general health through cold-exposure 
    • How to train the stress and fight/flight response
    • Scientific explanations about physiology in adaptation to cold

    16:00 - 17:00 - Grand Finale: ICEBATH

    Note: Whether you are a complete beginner, have done the 10-week course, or have just been practicing on your own, this workshop will provide answers to your questions, questions to your answers, and take you to the next level. 

    What to bring: 

    • Some snacks and a water bottle 
    • Swimming attire and a towel
    • Bathrobe and slippers are (optional)
    • Comfortable clothing to wear during the day

    No worries!

    Everybody can participate at their own level, no pressure, just a lot of fun! If you have any conditions concerning your health or blood circulation please contact us beforehand (check with a physician just to be sure). Please take a short cold shower every day leading up to the event. After the normal warm shower, turn off the hot water and stay under the cold shower until you can breathe normally again. Don’t put the head under the cold water and don’t stay much longer than 1 minute in the cold shower. This way, you will have an idea of how the body reacts to the cold.
