In this workshop you will learn how to practice and apply the three pillars of the Wim Hof Method (Breathing, Mindset/Focus and Gradual Cold Adaptation).
This is the fundamentals workshop so anyone who is starting out can learn how to implement the Wim Hof Method in daily life and get a perspective on the practice from different angles.
PROGRAM (6 hours):
The venue is a cool BJJ gym with great energy.
Sportswear, swimwear, towel, slippers, bottle of water, warm clothing for after cold exposure.
In order to prepare yourself for the workshop you need to start exposing yourself gradually to cold – this is a prerequisite.
If you are new to cold exposure just end your warm shower with 30-60 seconds of cold water only. Begin with your feet and then follow with your legs, your stomach, shoulders, neck and back. An initial feeling of shock, shivering and hyperventilation is normal. Try to remain calm and breathe easily. If you feel ok/have no adverse effects take a cold shower every morning. Be careful with your head under the cold shower, it is better to skip the cold shower on the head for the first month.
